Seamless Elbow

Stamping and welding elbows are made by stamping a plate into a half-ring elbow through a mold, and then the two half-ring elbows are assembled and welded to form. The bending radius is the same as that of seamless pipe elbow, and the specification range is more than 200 mm in nominal diameter.

High-pressure elbows are forged from high-quality carbon steel or low-alloy steel. According to the pipe connection form, both ends of the elbow are processed into threads or grooves. It is suitable for petrochemical pipelines with pressures of 22.0 and 32.0MPa. Common specifications range from DN6 to 200 mm.

According to the different shapes, they are divided into concentric reducers and eccentric reducers. Concentricity is easy to understand; that is, the center points of the circles at both ends of the pipe are on the same straight line, which is called a concentric reducer; otherwise, it is an eccentric reducer.

The materials of carbon steel pipe caps are mainly Q235, 20#, 16 manganese, 45# steel, etc. Its standards are GB/T12459-2005, GB/T13401-2005, etc. Some carbon steel pipe caps of the GB/T12459-2005 standard are seamless, and the pipe caps of the GB/T13401-2005 standard are large-welded. Other names for pipe caps are caps, plugs, covers, pipe covers, and blind heads. When splicing carbon steel pipe caps, the weld direction is only allowed to be radial and circumferential.
