A106 Gr.B STEEL PIPE

The A106GRB steel pipe is a Class B steel pipe produced in accordance with the American Society for Materials and Testing (ASTM) A106 standard. The ASTM A106 standard covers seamless carbon steel tubes for high temperature use, mainly for the transport of fluids, including water, oil, gas and other media

A106GRB STEEL PIPE Chemical composition
The carbon (C) content is generally between 0.18% and 0.25%, and this carbon content range can ensure that the steel pipe has a certain strength.
Manganese (Mn) content is about 0.80%-1.20%, manganese helps to improve the strength and toughness of the steel pipe.
The content of phosphorus (P) and sulfur (S) is strictly limited, with phosphorus content not exceeding 0.035% and sulfur content not exceeding 0.035%. The low phosphorus and sulfur content is to prevent the hot and cold brittleness of the steel pipe, so as to ensure the quality and performance of the steel pipe.
A106GRB STEEL PIPE Mechanical property
Tensile strength: The tensile strength of A106GRB steel pipe is usually not less than 415MPa. This means that when the steel pipe is subjected to tensile forces, it can withstand greater external forces without breaking, ensuring the safety in applications such as conveying fluids.
Yield strength: The minimum yield strength is generally 240MPa. The yield strength is the minimum stress value at which the material begins to produce significant plastic deformation, and this parameter is crucial for the stability of the steel pipe under pressure.
Elongation: elongation is not less than 30% (standard distance length is 50mm). The high elongation indicates that the steel pipe has good toughness, will not easily break when subjected to a certain degree of deformation, and can adapt to some complex working conditions.
