STEEL PIPES is a kind of hollow long circular steel, widely used as a pipeline for conveying fluids, such as transporting oil, natural gas, gas, water and some solid materials. According to the production method can be divided into seamless steel pipe and welded steel pipe.

Seamless STEEL PIPES
Hot-rolled seamless pipe: It is made of steel ingot or solid tube blank through perforation to make capillary tube, and then made by hot rolling. It is characterized by large pipe diameter, thick wall, can withstand higher pressure, often used in the manufacture of high-pressure boiler tubes, oil cracking tubes and so on. For example, in oil extraction, pipelines used to transport high-pressure crude oil or natural gas often use hot-rolled seamless pipes.
Cold-rolled seamless tube: Usually carried out on a two-high mill, the tube blank is formed after several cold rolling. The cold-rolled seamless pipe has high precision, good surface quality, small diameter and thin wall thickness, and is widely used in automotive, mechanical manufacturing and other fields, such as automotive hydraulic system pipelines.
Welded STEEL PIPES
Straight seam welded pipe: the weld is longitudinally parallel to the steel pipe, the production process is simple, the production efficiency is high, the cost is low, and the development is rapid. Mainly used for general water, gas and other low-pressure fluid transportation, such as building water supply and drainage pipes.
Spiral welded pipe: The weld is a spiral distribution, the pipe diameter is large, can withstand greater pressure, often used to transport oil, natural gas and other high-pressure fluids, such as long distance oil, gas pipelines.

Material composition
Carbon steel: carbon content between 0.03%-2%, with a certain strength and toughness, the price is relatively low, is the most commonly used steel pipe material, suitable for general construction, machinery manufacturing and other fields.
Alloy steel: On the basis of carbon steel, add an appropriate amount of one or more alloying elements, such as chromium, nickel, molybdenum, etc., to improve the strength, toughness, corrosion resistance and other properties of the steel pipe. It is often used in the manufacture of pipelines with high performance requirements, such as high temperature and high pressure pipelines in chemical, electric and other industries.
